Ramsey has enormous potential.

But potential alone changes nothing.

Leadership, investment and belief do. The biggest opportunities for Ramsey will come when government works alongside local businesses, investors and community organisations to turn plans into reality rather than leaving good ideas sitting on shelves.

Housing And Opportunity

Too many young people are struggling to stay on the Island.

Housing is now one of our biggest challenges and we need to prioritise brownfield sites before greenfield expansion.

We need:

• More homes

• Faster delivery

• More social housing

• Support for first-time buyers

• Infrastructure alongside development

• Bringing empty properties back into use

If young people cannot afford to stay, our future is weakened.

I am proud to have played a leading role in bringing forward a significant new social housing project for Ramsey.

For too long, people have heard promises about housing without seeing meaningful progress. This project demonstrates what can be achieved when people are prepared to work together, overcome obstacles and focus on delivery.

I believe elected representatives should be judged not simply on what they promise, but on what they help make happen.

Ramsey needs more of that approach.

 

Healthcare

Healthcare matters deeply to families across Ramsey and the North.

I will fight:

• To protect Ramsey Cottage Hospital

• For better healthcare delivery

• For realistic healthcare reform

• For stronger accountability and patient outcomes

Healthcare decisions should not be made solely with Douglas in mind.

The North deserves access to quality healthcare services close to home. I will continue to support Ramsey Cottage Hospital and fight for healthcare provision that recognises the needs of northern communities.

The answer cannot simply be spending more.

It must be spending smarter and managing better.
