Dear Constituent

It is a privilege to seek your support in the 2026 General Election.

Ramsey is my home. My family has lived and worked here for generations, and I have spent many years building businesses, creating jobs, serving our community and now raising my own children.

I was proud to serve as Chairman of Ramsey Town Commissioners during 2024/25, representing our town and learning first-hand both the opportunities and frustrations that exist within public life.

I entered local government to gain that experience because I believed public service matters. I wanted to understand how decisions are made and how change can genuinely be delivered.

That experience has strengthened my belief in one simple truth:

The Isle of Man should be thriving.

We are a beautiful, self-governing nation with talented people, strong communities and enormous potential. Yet too often we accept slow decision-making, bureaucracy, and a culture that makes progress harder than it should be. I believe we can do better.

 

I am standing for the House of Keys because I want to help build an Isle of Man that is more ambitious, more competitive and more confident in its future. I believe the best results are achieved when government, businesses, communities and individuals work together towards common goals. Government cannot build the Island’s future alone, and nor should it try to. By working in partnership, we can create opportunity and deliver the homes, infrastructure and services our communities need. My approach is simple:

• A stronger economy

• Better government

• A thriving Ramsey

These are not separate goals. They depend on one another.

A stronger economy funds healthcare, pensions, infrastructure, education and public services.

Better government delivers those services more efficiently and responsibly.

A thriving Ramsey strengthens the whole Island.

 

The Mindset We Need

One of my strongest beliefs is this:

Entrepreneurs succeed because they find ways to turn “No” into “Yes.”

That mindset must return to government.

Too often, the Isle of Man has drifted into a damaging culture where saying “No” is easier than solving problems.

Finding a responsible way to say “Yes” takes leadership, creativity and determination.

That is the mentality I will bring.

 

 

We Are At A Crossroads

This election is about more than personalities.

It is about direction.

We can continue with:

• Slow delivery

• Growing bureaucracy

• Rising costs

• Missed opportunities

• Government that too often feels disconnected from the people it serves

Or we can choose a different path:

• Economic growth

• Fiscal discipline

• Better infrastructure

• Faster decisions

• More opportunity

• Government that backs people who want to build, work and contribute
